Sometimes, though, the reality is that trying to find affordable healthcare can be difficult, overwhelming, and depressing. But without labwork to establish a baseline, you don't know what to work on or how agressive you should be. Of course, going on attack-mode isn't always the answer either (guilty!) In this instance, if you change too many things at once and have a good result, you have no idea which factor is responsible! That's why it's recommended to add/eliminate a food/supplement one at a time. I am NOT a medical professional, but I care and want you to have the information you need for good health. If you are experiencing inflammation, extreme weight loss/gain, or are at risk for a medical condition for genetic reasons, PLEASE find a way to get blood work done. Here are a few suggestions: 1) If you're a member of SAM's Club, they have free testing done several times a year. You'll have to deal with a crowd, but your health is worth it. Check their website for more information. 2) Use Social Media to get referrals-if you don't have a Facebook account, ask a friend to post, asking for referrals in your area for affordable blood tests. 3) Ask a hospital or Urgent Care facility for information. Feel free to send me your ideas and I'll be sure and add them!
